Jana Mayagan will release in theatres on January 9, 2026, only a few days before the auspicious festival of Sankranthi.

The movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Narain and Prakash Raj in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for ‘Thapathy 69’. Sathyan Sooryan will serve as the cinematographer with Pradeep E Raghav as the film’s editor.
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in the movie ‘GOAT’ aka ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, which became a huge hit. The movie also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Abyukta Manikandan in the pivotal roles. It revolves around Gandhi, who is former leader of an anti-terrorism squad and reunites with his squad members to address the problems that was created due to their previous actions.
