Actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother Kim Fernandez has passed away on the morning of April 6, 2025 after suffering a stroke. She was admitted under critical care in the ICU of Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital since March 24. Despite the best medical efforts, her condition worsened, and she sadly passed away. The team of Jacqueline Fernandez has released an official confirmation on X. Reports suggest that the funeral and last rites will be held privately with only close family members and friends.

Jacqueline, who was in Guwahati for an IPL performance on March 26 featuring the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, cancelled her performance and rushed back home as soon as she heard the news.
The source told HT, “Jacqueline’s mother is still in the ICU recovering. As the family awaits further updates from the doctors, Jacqueline has chosen to be by her mother’s side and, unfortunately, will be missing performing at the IPL ceremony.”
Jacqueline and her father, Elroy Fernandez, had been regularly spotted visiting the hospital for over a week. Salman Khan was also seen at the hospital, offering support to Jacqueline during this difficult time.
Kim had earlier suffered a stroke in 2022 and was treated in Bahrain, where she lived. She came from a multicultural background Malaysian, Canadian and had Indian roots from Goa.
