Jacqueline Fernandez, who was all set to perform at the IPL 2025 ceremony, has stepped away from the event. The actress made this difficult decision after her mother, Kim Fernandez, was hospitalised in Mumbai.

Jacqueline Chose To Step Out

A source close to Jacqueline confirmed, “Jacqueline’s mother is still in the ICU recovering. As the family awaits further update from the doctors. In these challenging times, Jacqueline has chosen to be by her mother’s side, and unfortunately will be missing performing at the IPL Ceremony shared a source close to the actress.”

Jacqueline was all set to perform before the IPL match in Guwahati between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, now as the situation demands, she has decided to skip the event.

Reports also suggest that a close friend and co-star Salman Khan visited the hospital to show his support for Jacqueline and her family.
