Jaat Box Office Prediction Day 1: Sunny Deol is back on the big screen with Jaat, which is a mass commercial action film. The movie has finally arrived in theatres after creating hype ever since its announcement. Amid the hype, it is expected that Jaat will open with good numbers. But will it be able to surpass the historic opening of Sunny Deol’s last film Gadar 2?
Jaat Box Office Prediction Day 1:
According to Sacnilk, Jaat collected Rs 2.37 crore in its pre-sales, which is way behind Gadar 2 as it earned Rs 17.60 crore. Even though the advance booking is lesser than Gadar 2, the movie is expected to open with good numbers,
As per Hindustan Times, Jaat is expected to collect Rs 10 crore approximately on its opening day.
Earlier, while speaking to the media, Sunny Deol shared that he would love do work in a movie like Animal, which starred his brother Bobby Deol. He said, “I’d love to play that role as an actor. I won’t call it negative, I will call it a character and definetely, I would love to do that. I will not say a not it. But then, the director and the producer need to have the guts to cast me in something like that. They will say that audiences won’t accept me in such a role, and that’s where I get stuck.”
Talking about the projects he and his family want to do, he added, “I don’t think it adds pressure. It’s high time [we got this kind of work]. We were waiting for it. It always takes us years back. That’s how the family has been, and that’s how we are. Ise kehte hain aap mehnat karo, waqt kab ayega, pata nahi. Aur ladte raho, hato mat (They say, you never know when your time will come, so, keep working hard. And keep fighting, don’t back down).”
The movie also stars Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, Bandhavi Sridhar, Vishika Kota, Praneeta Patnaik, Doulath Sulthana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ajay Ghosh, Dayanand Shetty, Jagapati Babu and Babloo Prithiveeraj.
