Recently, in the Subhankar Mishra Podcast, Randeep Hooda opened up about a past comment he shared in support of Alia. It was during Gully Boy that Kangana trolled Alia for her performance. In the show, he also explains his equation with Kangana.
Randeep Hooda had earlier worked with Alia Bhatt in Highway, and they had a cordial rapport between them. At that time, Kangana made a mean comment about Alia for her performance in Gully Boy as mediocre. On this, Randeep quickly stood up in support of Alia, without naming Kangana, and he wrote on his social media, “Dearest @aliaabhatt, I’m so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work. Kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself.”
Now, in a recent podcast, he confirmed that it was truly Kangana to whom he was referring as an occasional actor years ago through his tweet and also explained why he wrote it. Further, he talked about his current bond with the Queen’s actress. Randeep also mentioned that once she had a dream about Kangana.

Talking about his equation with Kangana, Randeep said Subhankar on his YouTube Podcast, “ It’s okay. I’ve worked with her in a couple of movies, and it’s okay. It’s not too close. Kabhi kabhi baatchit ho jaati hai. Infact ek din mujhe sapna aaya, jab Indira Gandhi aur unki picture aane wali thi, sapna aaya ki main aur woh dono bachche hain chhote aur aapas mein baatein kar rahe hain. Maine usko bheja tha message. Boli bohot sweet hai.”
When the host asked about the term occasional actor in his old tweet, it was targeted at Kangana, he confirmed, “Kyunki woh Kangana ko bohot target kar rahi thi. Mera Kangana se koi bair, na tha na hai.. Par Highway ki wajah se, woh jo chhoti Alia thi, usse mera ek bohot lagav hai. Usko hai ya nahi hai mujhe nahi pata but mujhe Dheera ke liye ek bohot lagav hai.”
“Mujhe ye achchha nahi lagta ki aap apna tuta bajane ke liye kisi aur ko neecha dikhao, woh mujhe bilkul achchha nahi lagta. Nahi main karta hoon, nahi achchha lagta hai. Woh jab mujhe laga ki aisa ho raha tha baatchit se. Tabhi maine isko tweet kiya tha kyunki koshish sabhi kar rahe hain. Kangana ek bohot achchhi actor hai unko ye baatein shobha nahi deti”, the actor added.
