Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar watched an exclusive screening of Aamir Khan film Sitaare Zameen Par recently. It was a thrilling moment when the popular cricketer watched the movie and then gave his feedback in a video which is in circulation these days.
The clip which was released by Aamir Khan Productions features Aamir Khan, waiting anxiously as he awaits the response of Sachin to the film. The video caption said, “From cricket fields to cinema halls, Sachin sir knows a classic when he sees one.” The film’s director, RS Prasanna, also shared the video on his social media and wrote, “The God speaks :)”

Sachin Tendulkar remarked after watching the movie, “I liked the film a lot. It is such that it makes you laugh and cry along with Team Sitaare. I’ve always said sport has the power to teach us everything. It has such a good message and the power to bring everybody together. This movie is something like that. I want to give a big thumbs up to all the actors; they did such a great job. All the very best to you.”

About the film
Sitaare Zameen Par is a movie, which is directed by RS Prasanna and in the lead roles Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh appear. It is referred to as the spiritual successor of the 2007 super hit movie Taare Zameen Par. A number of new faces like Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar have been added in the film.
It is a narrative of a basketball coach who is suspended and is instructed by the court to manage a team of neurodivergent adults when he is spotted driving under the influence (DUI). In this process, he acquires different lessons and modifies his perceptions of life.
Sitaare Zameen Par will be released on 20 June 2025 in theatres. This was not the first time Aamir Khan has organised a special screening of the film as he had another screening earlier in this month, limited to a few viewers. He even went to the theatre after the show to get people reaction to the film.
