In the recent exclusive episode, Samay Raina hinted at resolving things and controversy with Kusha Kapila, which caught everyone’s attention.
Samay Raina Hints To End Feud With Kusha
In the recent exclusive members-only episode of India’s Got Latent, Samay invited popular influencers like Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Makhija (also known as ‘rebel kid’.) The conversation took an interesting twist, sparking curiosity among fans about ending the feud between Samay and Kusha. The light-hearted exchange began with Samay teasing Apoorva by saying, “The Prajakta Koli from Meesho.” But Apoorva didn’t sit back; she replied, “Prajakta Koli will never abuse you on your face.” Taking advantage of the opportunity, Samay commented, “Yes, but Kusha Kapila would,” before adding an affectionate gesture, “Love you Kusha yaar.” This hint has left fans wondering if he is ready to mend his relationship with Kusha Kapila after the controversy that arose from a roast on Ashish Solanki’s show.
Controversy Between Kusha And Samay
For the unversed, the tension between Samay and Kusha started last year during a comedy show hosted by Ashish Solanki. During the show, Samay made some jokes on Kusha that were ‘dehumanising’, but later things went too far. Many people found some of his jokes offensive, and they ended up being removed from the show. Both comedians faced criticism for the situation, but Kusha later shared that she had not seen or agreed to the jokes before they aired, which left her feeling caught off guard and uncomfortable.
Kusha’s Reply
Kusha spoke out about the controversy on social media, saying that she didn’t know about the jokes beforehand. This approach is common in Western roast performances, where teasing is part of the act. In reply, she said, “Maybe I should have asked for a script and known better, but since friends were involved, I didn’t. Rookie mistake. While I endured some of the really raspy jokes in front of a live audience and technicians, I absolutely was not okay for it to play for millions of people since some jokes straight-up dehumanised me. It was shockingly unkind,”
