Samantha Ruth Prabhu has once again made headlines, this time for a series of photos shared on Instagram with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, sparking rumours that they might be dating. Though they haven’t confirmed anything, their frequent outings and pictures have fans thinking the couple may have made their relationship Instagram official.
On Friday, Samantha shared photos from the launch of her perfume brand, Secret Alchemist, and the eighth picture quickly went viral. In it, she is seen hugging Raj warmly, both smiling happily. Fans reacted excitedly, asking if they are officially a couple. Samantha wore a black lace outfit, and Raj looked sharp in a black suit.

The photo got a lot of attention online, with fans excitedly talking about it and wondering if Samantha and Raj have made their rumoured relationship Insta-official. “Is it official?” asked one fan, while another one wrote, “Absolutely loving the 8th slide!” A third comment read, “8th … Happy for you sam.”
In her caption, Samantha wrote, “Surrounded by friends and family. Over the last year and a half, I’ve taken some of the boldest steps in my career. Taking risks, trusting my intuition, and learning as I go. Today, I’m celebrating the small wins.
I’m so grateful to be working with some of the brightest, hardest-working, and most authentic people I’ve met. With a lot of faith, I know this is just the beginning.”
Samantha and Raj first worked together on The Family Man 2 in 2021, which was her first OTT project. They later teamed up for Citadel: Honey Bunny in 2024 and will appear together in the upcoming Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
Raj Nidimoru, who is one half of the filmmaker duo Raj & DK, was earlier married to Shhyamali De. They reportedly got divorced in 2022.
