Is Remo D’Souza Planning An ABCD Sequel? Details Inside!

Renowned choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza is working on two exciting new projects. First, he’s planning a sequel to his popular dance film franchise ABCD, which has excited fans. As per India Today  report, the project is still in early stages sources suggests that its is expected to have a fresh storyline and great choreography.

An insider source revealed “Filmmaker suggest that the new installment is in the early development stage, with a fresh storyline, and powerful choreography. It will feature a fresh take while retaining the heart and energy that made the previous films such crowd-pullers”. The sequel might include a mix of old faces and new talents.

Remo is also working on a romantic drama, a genre he hasn’t explored much before. A source reported “This film will have emotion, melody, and of course, a bit of dance but in a very different way”.

Remo’s last major project was Street Dancer 3D in 2020, which featured Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva, and Raghav Juyal. His more recent film, Be Happy, starred Abhishek Bachchan and tells the heartwarming story of a as a single father supporting his daughter’s dance aspirations.

Speaking about “Be Happy is a true passion project—a deeply moving story that celebrates the special bond between a father and daughter through the magic of music and dance. It’s a relationship that’s universal and transcends cultures, and we wanted to bring that emotion to life in a way that feels both authentic and uplifting.” The film also stars Inayat Verma, Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi.
