Bigg Boss is one of the most popular reality shows on television and has been hitting the headlines due to the speculations around its new season and after weeks of buzz, reality show Bigg Boss is officially making a comeback! However, whether it will be Season 19 or Bigg Boss OTT 4 is still under discussion. According to a report by The Indian Express, the show is definitely happening, with internal meetings currently underway to finalise the format.
A source close to the production told The Indian Express, “As of now, it’s not decided if the OTT version will air first or the TV version. It might just happen in the same old way it has been running all this while.”
The upcoming season is expected to premiere either in the last week of July or early August, with talks ongoing whether the show will adopt an OTT, most likely on JioHotstar, the source further added, “What is sure is that the show will happen with the Viacom group, mostly on Jio Hotstar, however, clarity on the same is yet to come.”
It’s reported that Salman Khan will shoot the promo by the end of June. However, The Indian Express noted that there has been no confirmation yet on the duration, platform, or even the final format of the new season.
It was reported that Colors TV channel is now looking for new producers to air both Bigg Boss OTT 4 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. According to some previous reports, Bigg Boss OTT 4 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 were rumoured to be cancelled for 2025. However, as per the latest buzz, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 might get postponed but will not be cancelled. The popular Instagram page for Bigg Boss updates, Bigg Boss Khabri, reported that the Colors channel is currently looking for new producers.
