On Monday, the Bollywood actor was issued a fresh death threat via Whatsapp. The threat was sent to the official number of the Worli Transport Department and contained warnings of a plan to bomb the actor’s home and car. According to the message, the suspect had threatened to enter Salman’s house and plant an explosive device in his vehicles. The Mumbai Police have confirmed that a case has been registered at the Worli Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation is currently underway to track down the sender and verify the credibility of the threat.
A Deja Vu For Salman?
This fresh threat is just a year after a stunning gunfire incident shook Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra on April 14, 2024. In the incident, unknown men opened several rounds outside his residence, leading to a massive security revamp around the actor. Since then, Salman has been in Y+ category security protection, and his movements in public have been strictly managed. In spite of the stringent security, multiple threats point towards a disturbing trend that law and order agencies are taking with very serious consideration.

Following this new threat alert, Salman Khan’s personal security at home has been stepped up. Crime branches and intelligence outfits have been joined to lend strength to the probe on progress.
