Inspector Avinash, a film produced by Jio Studios and Gold Mountain Pictures, transports you to Uttar Pradesh in the 1990s, a time of rife corruption and severe crime. Avinash Mishra, a courageous and exceptional cop, and his team fight to end the mafia’s expanding supremacy in a world where it rules through the illegal arms trade and mafia violence.
The show vividly depicts the gruelling and violent moments of how Mishra fought gangsters. It also shows the sacrifices and hazards associated in fighting for justice in a corrupt system. He strives for a crime-free state with an unequalled network of informants called Mayajaal. The series presents a distinctive blend of urban and rural areas, displaying the beauty and complexity of Uttar Pradesh in never-before-seen locations. Along with Krishna Chowdhry, Neerraj Pathak dons a second hat as producer of the eagerly anticipated series.
