After getting engaged in December 2024, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are reportedly all set to tie the knot this weekend. The couple will have an intimate yet star-studded wedding in LA in Santa Barbara, California. The intimate celebration will be attended by close friends and family, with reports suggesting a few high profile names from the music and entertainment industry may be present.
The couple has hired top wedding planner Mindy Weiss to organize the at El Encanto, a luxury resort in Santa Barbara owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen. The resort is fully booked for the weekend, with rooms starting at $3,500 per night, as many guests will stay overnight. To ensure privacy, Selena and Benny are spending around $300,000 on security, including guards, closed entrances, and patrols to keep fans and paparazzi away. In total, they have spent over $5 million to make the wedding truly special.
According to The Sun, guests will be picked up and driven to the wedding without knowing the location, adding a fun sense of mystery. While most details are being kept secret, some expected attendees include Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, and Taylor Swift. Taylor’s fiance, NFL player Travis Kelce, won’t be able to attend because of a game in Kansas on September 29.

Another big name linked to the wedding is Oscar winner Meryl Streep, who acted with Selena in Only Murders in the Building, but it’s unclear if she will attend due to work commitments. Reports from TMZ say that over 170 guests are expected, including friends who also went to Selena’s bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas in August.
The ‘Back to You’ singer’s co-stars from ‘Only Murders In The Building’, Steve Martin and Martin Short, are likely to attend. Benny Blanco’s famous musician friends will also attend.
The couple announced their wedding in December 2024. Announcing her engagement, Selena flaunted her ring and wrote, “forever begins now..” To this, Taylor commented, “yes I will be the flower girl.” Jennifer Anniston, Lily Collins, Ashley Benson, Sofia Carson, Suki Waterhouse, Ashlry Park and several celebrities congratulated the couple.
