Inside Out 2 OTT Release Date In India: The collaboration of Disney and Pixar has mostly been successful and ‘Inside Out 2’ has joined the list of their latest blockbuster films. The movie has collected over 1 billion USD worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time. ‘Inside Out 2’ focuses on the emotions of a teenager Riley and how everything turns chaotic when Anxiety takes over. After its golden run at the box office, the movie will be made available to stream on the OTT platform.

‘Inside Out 2’ will release on Disney+ Hotstar on September 25.
Announcing the OTT release date, Disney Plus wrote, “Contain your emotions, because #InsideOut2 is coming to @DisneyPlus September 25!”

In an interview with the Academy Award Organisations, director Kelsey Mann revealed creating the character of Anxiety was the hardest for the team. She said, “Anxiety took the longest. That was a really hard one, in part because her character changed a lot. She was always the antagonist in the film, but in the earlier versions of the movie, she was really antagonistic. I was really influenced by the movie All About Eve. I was drawn to the idea of an emotional takeover.”
She added, “In terms of doing something new and original, I thought if the first film, Joy and Sadness accidentally get thrown out of headquarters, well, what if they were thrown out on purpose and somebody was actually trying to take over? It also felt true to being a teenager, of having your emotions take over, and especially being led by Anxiety.”
Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are the main emotions in the movie. Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan have given their voice to these central characters with Maya Hawke giving her voice to Anxiety.
