Now, Indresh has revealed one of his embarrassing moments when a film scene he was in got cut without his knowledge. He sat down to showcase his role in the film to someone, only to discover that he was not included in the final cut.
Heeramandi Actor Reveals His Role In Fanney Khan
In a conversation with Zoom, Indresh disclosed that he had filmed a scene with Anil Kapoor for the 2018 film ‘Fanney Khan‘, which also starred Aishwarya Rai and Rajkumar Rao. Indresh mentioned that it wasn’t until a year later that he discovered his scene had been omitted from the final cut of the film.
Indresh clarified, “There’s a misconception that I had worked with Aishwarya Rai. I was part of ‘Fanney Khan’, where I filmed a scene with Anil Kapoor, but unfortunately, it didn’t make it into the final cut of the film.” Indresh also shared the embarrassing story of how he learned about this.
He recounted, “I was on a flight when I noticed someone watching ‘Fanney Khan’ beside me. I confidently mentioned that I’m in the film and my scene is coming up soon. However, to my surprise, my scene never appeared!” Indresh continued, “It dawned on me that I wasn’t actually in the film. Despite my involvement and even boasting about it to some, nobody informed me otherwise. I couldn’t help but feel puzzled about why nobody mentioned it. The passenger beside me seemed to doubt my words, but I genuinely didn’t know that my scene had been cut.” Although his scene was omitted from the film, viewers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show ‘Hiramandi’ on Netflix will forever remember Indresh’s portrayal of the astute ‘Ustad Ji’, deftly relaying information.
