New Delhi: The 29-year-old famous Indian television actor Vaishali Takkar was found dead at her Indore home on Sunday, October 16. After three days after her death, the police caught the man who has been accused of the actor’s suicide. The man was Vaishali’s ex-boyfriend Rahu Navlani, who was also her neighbour. The police arrested him on Wednesday night.

Earlier, the police found a suicide note at the spot, in which she mentioned Rahul and his family are the reason for her this action. As per the media reports, Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra confirmed that Rahul was arrested last night, but his wife, Disha, is still on a run. The case was under the Tejaji Nagar police station.
Police Official Statement
While talking to a private channel, the commissioner said, “The accused was a neighbour so he knew about the goings on and managed to escape…Teams were sent to different states, we even announced a reward. A lookout circular was issued. He is being questioned.” He also said that the culprit’s phone and other electronic devices are under custody and the investigation is still going on.
Vaishali Takkar’s death details
The 29-year-old actress Vaishali Takkar stayed in Indore with her father and brother. After the investigation, the police found a suicide note at the spot.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Moti ur Rehman told news agency ANI, “Rahul was Viashali’s neighbour and the suicide note indicates that he used to harass Vaishali, because of which she took such an extreme step. She was about to get married to another man and Rahul troubled her for that. The police are currently investigating the case.”
“Rahul is currently not at his residence and has fled after locking his house. Police are currently locating Rahul, after that he will be questioned,” ACP Rehman added.
Vaishali Takkar’s suicide note
The suicide note, which was found on the spot, reads, “I am quitting, I love you mummy papa sorry I could not be a good daughter. Please get Rahul and his family punished. I have been mentally tortured by Rahul and Disha for 2- 5 years. Otherwise, my soul will not get peace, I swear to you. I love you so much I’m sorry I’m leaving.”

Vaishali was a well-known actress in the TV industry. She has worked in many popular shows. The actress started her acting career in the year 2015 with the TV popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata. In that show, she essayed the role of Sanjana. After this, she appeared as Vrinda in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
Vaishali gained a lot of popularity from her character Anjali Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka. Apart from this, Vaishali also did a great job as Shivani Sharma in Super Sisters, Netra Singh Rathore in Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Ananya Mishra in Manmohini 2. The actress was last seen in the TV show Rakshabandhan as Kanak Singhsaal Singh Thakur.
