Devil May Cry Announcement: Video games have been a part of pop culture over the years and their popularity has skyrocketed with several studios teaming up with established production houses to create movies and shows. ‘Devil May Cry’ has joined the list as Netflix has collaborated with Japanese video game company Capcom to create a new anime series of the same name. ‘Devil May Cry’ will be created by Indian-American filmmaker Adi Shankar, who will also act as the executive producer.
Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, “Dante. Is. Coming. Devil May Cry, an animated series from Capcom, Netflix and Studio Mir premieres April 2025. #GeekedWeek.”

Devil May Cry Release Date:
‘Devil May Cry’ will release on Netflix in April 2025. Its official release date will be announced soon.
Shankar told Netflix, “Rest assured, we are working very hard because we love the franchise and because we want to deliver something great. Our goal wasn’t just to pump out another animated show. My goal is to make one of the best shows on the Netflix platform — period.” He further asked fans to “get hyped” about the show.

The game ‘Devil May Cry’ revolves around a hunter named Dante, who goes on a journey to kill all the demons after his mother gets killed. The anime will also follow a similar plot and will focus on Dante, who gets caught up in the war between the human and demon realms.
