‘I’m So Excited’: Alia Bhatt To Light Up Cannes With Her Glorious Red Carpet Debut

Alia Bhatt shared her excitement about attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time.

Actor Alia Bhatt will walk the red carpet for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival this year. She is the global ambassador for the beauty brand L’Oreal Paris. Alia will join Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the festival, which will be held from May 24. L’oreal Paris is celebrating its 28th anniversary at the event.

Alia Bhatt shared her excitement about attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. She said in a statement, as reported by news agency ANI, “There’s something absolutely special about firsts and I’m so excited to make my Festival de Cannes debut this year, an iconic celebration of cinema and self-expression. It is such an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’.”

She added, “To me, beauty is about celebrating individuality, confidence and self-worth. It’s limitless, it’s unique. I’m proud to stand with a brand that celebrates every woman’s journey and empowers them to shine in their own light.”

Along with strong Indian representation, L’Oreal Paris will also have other stars on the red carpet, including Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King, Andie MacDowell, Simone Ashley, Elle Fanning, Bebe Vio, and Yseult.

Recently, Alia attended the WAVES summit in Mumbai. She wore a Paithani sari in the traditional Maharashtrian style to celebrate Maharashtra Day.
