Ikkis: Agastya Nanda to lead biopic of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra hero; See first look

Ikkis is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 2025 but the makers are yet to officially announce its final release date.

Agastya Nanda, who is superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, is all set to appear in his second film ‘Ikkis’. He made his acting debut with the Netflix film ‘The Archies’ and received praise from the audience. In ‘Ikkis’, he will play the role of Arun Khetarpal, who is the youngest officer recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.

Announcing the movie, the makers wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Arun Khetarpal, Ikkis, a story that will forever stay in our hearts, is wrapped. Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films present #Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, a true untold story of the youngest officer recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. In cinemas December 2025!”

Earlier, while speaking to PTI, director Sriram Raghavan talked about the plot of ‘Ikkis’. He shared, “It is a bigger production; there will be tank battles and all those things that happen in a war film. But it is also a human story; it’s a drama, a coming-of-age kind of a thing.”

Earlier, on December 13, the Delhi government’s Directorate of Education (DoE) had issued a circular directing all government, government-aided, and recognised private schools under DOE, NDMC, MCD, and Delhi Cantonment Board to conduct classes in a hybrid mode for students up to Class IX and XI.
