Dhanush has returned to the big screen with his ‘Idli Kadai’, for which he has also turned into writer and director. The movie focuses on a man whose quest to be successful leads him to rediscover his roots. The movie also stars Nithya Menon in the lead role, marking their second collaboration after Thiruchitrambalam.

Earlier, while speaking to NDTV, Nithya talked about her experience of working with Dhanush again. He shared, “It’s the same for me. He is a very familiar person. He is my friend. I think we are all people who don’t stick to one role. We are very collaborative. We are people with multiple talents. We always contribute to everything. It’s just a natural progression. I didn’t see any separate versions of him but filming was fun.”

Idli Kadai also stars Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R. Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani and Rajkiran.
