Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late actress Sridevi, are set to make their acting debut in the upcoming Netflix film Nadaaniyan. As part of the promotion for the romantic drama, the duo recently shared a video on Instagram Reels, which, unfortunately, didn’t go down well with many online viewers. The clip, which showcases their over-the-top performances, has attracted criticism, with several internet users calling it cringeworthy.
‘GalatFehmi’ Promo Video Gets Mixed Reactions
The video, posted by Khushi Kapoor, shows a scene where Ibrahim’s character eagerly tries to meet Khushi’s character, but she snubs him as the shoot has concluded. Ibrahim, in tears, is left behind, with Khushi captioning the video, “Clearly his #Galatfehmi,” referencing a song from their film. However, this attempt at humour didn’t sit well with everyone.

Many netizens expressed their displeasure, commenting things like, “Delete this while you still have the time” and “Is this how they’re promoting movies these days?” Some even ridiculed the acting, referring to it as “20 rs ki acting.”

Nadaaniyan also features Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hnsraj. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the Dharmatic Entertainment banner, the film will be directed by Shauna Gautam, who was an assistant director for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film will mark the debut of Ibrahim and Khushi, as well as the directorial debut of Gautam.
