Actor Sheeba Aggarwal, who was recently seen with Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez in the action-thriller Fateh, spoke about her experiences in the film industry in a new interview. She shared that she was once neighbours with Amrita Singh and that Amrita’s dog killed killed her Pomeranian.
Sheeba admitted that the incident left her deeply affected. The actor also shared other stories, mentioning famous colleagues like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Sunil Dutt and Shah Rukh Khan.
Sheeba Aggarwal Recalls Living Next To Saif-Amrita And Their Dog
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Sheeba Aggarwal and her actor-husband Akashdeep Sabir talked about their time in Bollywood. They shared that they once lived next to Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh when they were married. Sheeba said, “We lived in the same building, and Amrita had a German Shepherd. The dog wasn’t trained and wasn’t supposed to be let loose. I love animals and know how to take care of different pets.”
Akashdeep defended Saif and Amrita, saying, “To be fair to them, they weren’t at home—they were out shooting. The house help accidentally left the door open, and my two Pomeranians were out for a walk. That’s when the German Shepherd attacked them.”
Akashdeep shared, “My watchman called me and told me that I needed to get back as soon as possible. When I asked what the matter was, he just said, ‘Saif aapka kutta khaa gaya’ (Saif ate your dog), and I just couldn’t understand what he was talking about.” He and Sheeba both started laughing as they remembered the moment. Sheeba said the tragedy affected her deeply. “I was horrified and upset, and I went through a very bad phase,” she added.
Sheeba Aggarwal’s Bollywood Career
Sheeba Aggarwal started her Bollywood career with the film Yeh Aag Kab Bhujegi in 1991, where she acted with Sunil Dutt. After that, she became part of many popular films like Koi Mil Gaya (2003) and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani (2023).
