‘I Started Screaming’: Mouni Roy Shares Frightening Hotel Room Incident

Mouni Roy recently talked about a scary time when someone tried to break into her hotel room.

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy, who is promoting her film The Bhootnii, recently talked about a scary experience in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. She shared that one night, a stranger tried to break into her hotel room, making her scream in fear.

Mouni talked about the scary moment and said, “I was in a small town, I can’t remember exactly which one, and I don’t want to name it incorrectly. Someone actually stole a key and tried to open my room. Thankfully, I wasn’t alone; I was with my manager. I immediately started screaming when we realised what was happening.”

Mouni Questions Hotel’s Response

She went on to question how the hotel staff handled the serious situation. Mouni said, “Then we tried calling the receptionist. They casually said it must have been housekeeping. I questioned them, who in housekeeping comes to open a door without knocking, without ringing the bell, and that too at 12:30 in the night?”

Mouni’s Journey in Showbiz

Mouni Roy started her acting career with the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She later became well-known for playing Sati in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and Shivanya in Naagin. After TV, she moved to films like Gold and Brahmāstra, where she received praise for her acting.

Mouni Roy’s Upcoming Projects

Mouni Roy will next appear in a horror movie called The Bhootnii, where she plays a ghost named Mohabbat. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt in the main role. It is directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt. Other important actors in the film include Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Navneet Malik.

The Bhootnii will release in cinemas on 1st May. It will compete at the box office with Raid 2, which stars Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh.
