Kartik expressed his views
In an interview with The Lallantop, Kartik mentioned, ‘A while back, I did an advertisement for a face cream, but then I stopped. I wasn’t really convinced. I didn’t renew the contract because I felt it was wrong.’
It’s worth noting that following the film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,’ Kartik Aaryan endorsed a fairness cream in 2018. This ad promoted the notion that men can be fair-skinned. After facing public backlash, the company changed the name of their cream, and Kartik also decided to part ways with them.
In the same interview, Kartik Aaryan also discussed pan masala advertisements. He mentioned, ‘I have received multiple offers to endorse pan masala. Several brands reached out to me, but I turned them down. I don’t connect with these products personally, so why should I promote them to my audience? I aim to avoid endorsing things I don’t believe are right.’
