‘I Can’t See This’, Bobby Deol’s Mom Prakash Kaur On Animal

This year marked a notable success for Bollywood siblings Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Sunny experienced significant triumph with the blockbuster "Gadar 2," while Bobby is currently enjoying acclaim for his latest film ‘Animal,’ earning praise from both critics and audience since its cinema release. In the film, Bobby essayed the role of antagonist, Abrar Haque, who dies in the climax scene. Speaking with Pinkvilla, Bobby Deol revealed his mother Prakash Kaur's reaction to his death scene. He said ''My mom was like, 'Aisi film mat kiya kar tu, mujhse nahi dekha jaata (Don't do such films, I can't see this),'' she said. He later told her, 'Look, I'm standing in front of you; I just played a part'. But she's very happy. The amount of phone calls she's getting; all her friends want to meet me. Something similar happened when Aashram released.'' Later, he also talked about his father Dharmendra's role in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. He revealed that he couldn't watch the film as Dharmendra's character dies in the film. The film is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, among others in pivotal role. The film hit the theatres on Decemeber 1.
