Hyderabad Police arrested ‘Pushpa’ movie actor on charges of abetment to suicide in connection with his junior woman artist, who died by suicide on November 29.
According to reports, the actor, Jagdish Pratap Bhandari, was in a live-in relationship with her junior artist. On the compalint of the junior artist’s father, Hyderabad Police registered a case under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) against Bhandari.

According to police, the actor allegedly clicked obscene pictures of the junior artist with a man on November 27 and threatened her to upload them on social media. Fed up with harassment, the junior artist died by suicide by hanging herself at her home in Hyderabad on November 29.
Media reports claimed that the actor was in a relationship with her junior artist in the past, and later they parted ways over building career.
Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari is an Indian actor who prominently works in Telugu films. He made his debut with Avanti Cinema’s Nirudyoga Natulu in 2018 and was seen in Raj Rachakonda’s Mallesham followed by George Reddy and Palasa 1978.
Jagadeesh, who rose to fame after playing Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj’s side-kick’s role Kesava aka Mondelu, in Pushpa 1 aka Pushpa: The Rise, had done some films earlier. But Pushpa made him a popular face in the Tollywood. After Pushpa’s release, he had done about 6 films. He is shooting for Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule.
