Nagarjuna’s Response
Nagarjuna strongly condemned Konda Surekha’s comments, stating, “As a woman in a responsible position, your accusations against our family are completely irrelevant and false.” He urged the minister to withdraw her remarks and emphasized that the lives of movie stars should not be used for political attacks.
In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Nagarjuna added, “Please respect other people’s privacy,” expressing his displeasure at the minister’s comments.
Political Fallout
KT Rama Rao, son of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, has not commented on the issue yet. However, BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao Thanneeru has demanded an unconditional apology from Konda Surekha.
Konda Surekha accused KTR of being responsible for actresses leaving the film industry early to get married, claiming he blackmailed them after getting them involved with drugs. She also suggested that KTR might be behind several offensive social media posts targeting her.

The Congress leader’s comments come after she faced online abuse related to a viral photo of BJP leader Raghunandan Rao garlanding her at an event. She accused BRS leaders of using the incident to demean her based on her gender.
