Hrithik Roshan Supports Call For Action Against Constable Who Assaulted Kangana Ranaut

Amidst her Mandi victory, actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut is currently in the spotlight due to a recent incident in which she was assaulted by a CISF constable.

A string of renowned Bollywood personalities including Hrithik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha, Zoya Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Soni Razdan, and Prajakta Kohli have supported Kangana Ranaut, who was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport.

The incident occurred on Thursday when Kangana was heading back to Delhi just a day after her victory as a BJP candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.

Several other famous personalities like Anupam Kher, Shekhar Suman, Raveena Tandon, and Mika Singh have condemned the incident.

Many Bollywood celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Sonakshi Sinha, and others liked the post of the journalist Faye D’Scouza.

“Especially not in our country that was born out of Gandhi’s ideals of non-violence. It doesn’t matter how much we disagree with views and statements made by someone, we cannot react with violence, and we should not condone it,” the post stated.

The post also mentioned that “It is particularly dangerous when security personnel react violently while in uniform.”

The journalist also said, “Imagine, over the last ten years, if those of us who questioned power were assaulted at airports by constables who were in agreement with that power.”

Kangana Ranaut shared a long message on Saturday addressing those supporting the CISF constable.

“Every rapist, murderer, or thief always has a strong emotional, physical, psychological, or financial reason to commit a crime, no crime ever happens without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail. If you are aligned with the criminal’s strong emotional impulse to commit a crime, violating all laws of the land,” she wrote.
