Bollywood is known for it’s overlapping ideas, but a recent report has revealed an interesting ‘silent war’ happening between three of the biggest stars – Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, and Kartik Aaryan.
The competition, for what? To create Bollywood’s next big zombie film. Here’s what we know so far.
According to a report from PeepingMoon, Hrithik Roshan is making major strides in the zombie genre. The actor has gained the rights to the hit Will Smith film ‘I Am Legend’ for a whopping Rs. 12 crore. Hrithik plans to develop the film under his own name, reportedly in collaboration with ‘Kill’ director Nikhil Bhat.
However, Hrithik’s other commitments including Krrish 4 is expected to delay this project.
Ranveer Singh Eyes The Best
Ranveer Singh on the other hand is also looking to make his own space in the zombie genre. Through his upcoming production house, Ranveer is going to dive into zombie genre storyline and theme.
In addition to this the actor is currently working on a mythological action film with Uri director Aditya Dhar.
Kartik Aaryan Pushes for A Large-Scale Zombie Film
Kartik Aaryan isn’t staying behind either. The actor has also pitched a large-scale zombie film to Bhushan Kumar, head of T-Series aiming to create a genre-defining spectacle. With his recent success in Bollywood Kartik’s venture into the zombie genre is something that people may watch out for.

The ‘Silent War’ – Is It Just Creative Competition?
The report reveals an interesting twist! All three renowned actors are represented by the same talent agency, Collective Artists Network. A trade insider revealed that once one superstar got involved in a zombie project, the others followed suit, sparking an unsaid rivalry.
The insider also shared about the complexities of zombie films. “Zombie films are difficult to make, and not everyone can pull them off. It requires a skilled team of writers, directors, and actors, along with a producer willing to take financial risks,” they said.
With these big stars in the race, it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious in this high-stakes battle.
What’s Next For The Three Stars?
For now, the zombie war remains in the thinking stages. Hrithik is busy filming War 2 alongside Jr. NTR, Ranveer is working on Dhurandhar with Aditya Dhar and Kartik is also juggling between numerous projects.
