Actress Karishma Sharma, known for her role in Ragini MMS Returns, has been discharged from the hospital after a frightening train accident in Mumbai. She is reported to be in stable condition and is currently recuperating from her injuries.
Sharing a photo from the hospital on Instagram, Karishma wrote, “Hey guys, I just wanted to share that I’ve finally been discharged from the hospital. The doctor told me that, thankfully, the injury isn’t too deep, but I will still feel some pain for a while as I recover.”
She added, “It’s been a really tough and scary experience, but I feel so blessed to have all of your love, prayers, and support. Honestly, that’s what gave me the strength to get through this. And not to forget my mom, who took the very next flight and gave me so much strength. Thank you so much for being there for me — it truly means the world.”

How It Happened
The accident occurred while Karishma was heading for a shoot at Churchgate railway station. She revealed that she was boarding a train in a sari when it began moving, and in an attempt to avoid danger after her friends couldn’t catch the train, she jumped off, falling on her back and hitting her head.
Taking to her Instagram, she had shared, “Yesterday, while heading for shoot at Churchgate, I decided to take the train dressed in a sari. As I boarded the train started picking up speed, and I noticed my friends couldn’t catch it. Out of fear, I jumped off — and unfortunately fell on my back, hitting my head.”

On the work front, Karishma started her career on TV with Pavitra Rishta as Pia Arjun Kirloskar. She has appeared in films like Super 30, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and Ujda Chaman, and has featured in several web series. Most recently, she starred in the action-mystery short film Lights, Camera, Lies alongside Achintya Rajawat and Yajur Marwah.
