Housefull 5 opened to a massive response, collecting Rs 24 crore on its first day. The momentum continued on Day 2 with an estimated collection of Rs 30 crore, marking a 25% growth from the opening day, according to Sacnilk. By the end of Day 2, the film’s total box office collection stands at Rs 54 crore.
The movie is set against the backdrop of a luxury cruise ship, where a billionaire dies. He leaves his fortune to a man named Jolly but three people claim to be Jolly to get the wealth. However, three men and their partners become the prime suspects. This leads to the comedy of errors, chaotic situations and more.
Housefull 5 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey and Johnny Lever in the pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma are the leading ladies of Housefull 5.
The makers have released its two different versions as ‘Housefull 5 A’ and ‘Housefull 5 B’. ‘A’ and ‘B’ will have different endings and climaxes as this franchise takes a whodunnit route.
