Been hours since i watched homebound and I’m still searching for the right words. I am not sure if I’m ever going to find them either. The story and the acting, the colour grading & the cinematography all leaves you in awe. Deserves every bit of acclaim.🤍 @ghaywan 🫡 #HomeBound

#Homebound by @Ghaywan is poignant, deeply moving and quietly devastating. Its stark realism strips you down, confronts your privilege, and leaves behind a tenderness that stays. Such brilliant performances by Ishaan & Vishal Jethwa. Easily one of the year’s finest films. 👏🏽

If you believe caste-based discrimination is a relic of the past, and that we now live in a progressive and compassionate society, Homebound will break that illusion for you. pic.twitter.com/TojGae5oCt
i really hope homebound does get the oscar not only because it deserves the praise and is an insanely well made film, but more importantly it's the only film in recent times that has the potential to change the way people think about government, politics and identity
