Sydney Sweeney has established herself as a successful actress in Hollywood with her several stellar performances. According to the latest buzz, the actress might step into Bollywood and has been offered a huge paycheck as well. Her stint in Bollywood won’t be limited to a cameo, and she will reportedly lead the project.
According to a report by The Sun, Sydney has been offered a whopping Rs 530 crore/45 million pounds for her Bollywood debut. She is rumoured to play the role of a Hollywood star who falls in love with an Indian celebrity.
A source was quoted as saying, “Sydney was shocked by the offer at first. £45million is an incredible sum. But the project is intriguing, and it could elevate her global profile even further.”
“The Indian film industry is powerful and growing, and this movie is designed to bring its productions to the international market. Nothing has been decided yet, but it’s a huge opportunity and Sydney is weighing her options carefully. Money isn’t everything, and she has many projects lined up, but this could push her to new limits as an actress,” the source added.
On the work front, Sydney Sweeney has a bunch of films lined up. She will next appear in the biopic ‘Christy’, in which she will play the role of the former professional boxer Christy Martin. The movie focuses on Martin’s rise to becoming America’s most well-known female boxer in the 1990s, and later her husband’s attempt to murder her in 2010. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres on November 7.

The actress will also appear in ‘The Housemaid’, which is based on the book by Freida McFadden. Sydney will play the role of Millie Calloway, a young woman with a troubled past who becomes a live-in housemaid for a wealthy family. Things take a turn when she discovers their household hides dark secrets beneath the surface. She will star alongside Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins.
