Hera Pheri is one of the most popular film franchises of all time and will return with its third instalment. It was reported that the original trio Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal will return to the third part. However, as per the latest buzz, Paresh Rawal has quit Hera Pheri 3 due to creative differences with the makers.
While speaking to Bollywood Hungama about his exit from Hera Pheri 3, the actor simply gave his confirmation and said, “Yes, it’s a fact.” Meanwhile, an insider close to the production claimed that Paresh Rawal left Hera Pheri 3 due to creative differences. “There were creative differences between the makers and Paresh Rawal. As a result, the actor decided to step down from the film,” the insider told Bollywood Hungama.
Paresh Rawal played the role of Babu Rao and his performance is a fan favourite.
The news of Paresh Rawal’s exit becomes even more shocking as Suniel Shetty expressed his excitement for the film. In an interview, he said, “Excited hain kyunki same team hai. Masti bhara rehta hai.” He also talked about working with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal again. He said, “Jab hum teen saath mein hote hain to aas paas waalon ki haalat bahut kharab hoti hai.”
Akshay and Suniel are yet to comment on this new development regarding Hera Pheri 3. It was earlier reported that Akshay won’t be a part of the film but later sorted his differences. Kartik Aryan was also rumoured to star in Hera Pheri 3 but the makers did not comment on it.
Directed by Priyadarshan, Hera Pheri is the remake of 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking. The movie also starred Tabu, Om Puri and Gulshan Grover. Its sequel ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ also starred Bipasha Basu, Rimi Sen, Sharat Saxena, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Milind Gunaji, Manoj Joshi and Razak Khan.
