Actor Hema was granted conditional bail and released from jail on Friday. The actor approached the NDPS special court on Thursday and was directed to cooperate with the investigation. He was arrested earlier this month for using drugs at a party.
Hema Receives Bail
On June 14, Hema was released from prison after receiving conditional bail. In a video shared with the press, the actor looks different than usual as he has been held in custody since June 3. In the video, he speaks to the police and finishes the paperwork before leaving. He can also be heard saying, “We don’t have to tell them anything,” presumably during their press release.

The Drug Case
On May 19, a wild party took place in a residential building near Electronic City. Acting on a tip-off, the CCB raided the place and collected blood samples from those who attended the party. According to PTI, 86 people, including Hema, have tested positive for drugs. CCB was summoned for questioning and he was arrested on June 3 because his answers were not satisfactory.
Hema Claims Innocence
Speaking to the media outside the police station, Hema said, “I have not done anything. I am innocent. Look what they are doing to me. I did not do drugs. I shared the original confession video from Hyderabad, not Bengaluru. I even shared a video of me cooking biryani in Hyderabad. She posted a video on Instagram of herself allegedly cooking at her home.
She also posted a video after the rave party crash, claiming he was in Hyderabad and not a residential building in Bengaluru. “I didn’t go anywhere, I’m enjoying and chilling in a farmhouse in Hyderabad. Don’t believe the rumors. I don’t know who’s there, it’s fake news that I was at the party,” she said.
