Following Salman Khan’s indirect comments on Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar, filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, who directed Salman’s 2010 hit Dabangg, has once again voiced his displeasure with the superstar in a candid interview with Bollywood Thikana.
In a promo shared by the media portal, Abhinav sang the Tere Naam title track for Salman before addressing him directly. He claimed that Salman’s fans were more bothered by his words than the actor himself, stating, “I am talking about him very openly, and while he’s saying nothing, his chamchas (sycophants) seem to mind a lot. He ruined his own life, and he ruined it so much that it can’t be set right again. I’ve said everything from my heart, and I’ve said the truth, so he cannot feel bad about it.”
Abhinav also criticized Salman’s upcoming Battle of Galwan role, calling it “chapri” (tacky) and questioning why a “criminal” is playing a soldier. He added, “He begged me for a film, and I gave him a chance with Dabangg, but he stabbed me in the back. Ye jo in logon ne zeher dala hai na mere andar, ye zeher ki ulti kar raha hu main. (I’m spitting whatever venom they’ve filled me up with.)”

The ongoing feud dates back years, with Abhinav previously alleging that Salman took undue credit for Dabangg and made it difficult for Anurag Kashyap on the sets of Tere Naam. Salman had addressed some of these claims indirectly on Weekend Ka Vaar, advising Abhinav to focus on his own family instead, saying, “Humare ek Dabangg insaan hai woh bhi aaj kal lage hue hain. Abhi unhone mere saath Aamir ko bhi lapete mein leliya, Shah Rukh, ko bhi. Mujhe bus itna he poochna hai pichle WKV par maine ek aise he bola tha kaam karo yaar, nobody is interested.. Aaj wapas se poochna chahta hoon, ke kaam mila kya bhai?”
Salman did not stop here, he added, “Aur aisi harkatein karne ke baad. harr ek ke burayi karoge aap. Aur ye jitno ke naam le rahe ho aap matlab ke intelligence ki hadh hoti hai, ye toh life mein aapke saath kaam nahi karenge. Aur inke saath jitne log bhi jude hain woh bhi nahi karenge. Aur phir jab aapko humne ek film offer ki aapne bola nahi karenge. Aur aap joh tareefon ke pull bandhe jaa rahe the woh toh aapne abhi jaake destroy kar diya hai. Mujhe baat sirf buri yehi lag rahi hai ke aapne apne aap ko destroy kar liya…”
On the work front, Salman was last seen in Atlee’s Sikandar and will next star in Battle of Galwan.
