New Delhi: The Patiala High Court on Thursday reserved its order on a bail application moved by the Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 200 crore extortion case related to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Earlier the day, the actress arrived at Delhi Patiala High court for her impending bail hearing on the same.
The court asked the ED’s lawyer to give all the documents related to the case to all the accused.
The Enforcement Directorate said in the court that Jacqueline is a foreign national and when her questioning began in December 2021, she tried to flee.
Earlier, she was granted interim bail in the matter by the trial court. Jacqueline’s lawyer Advocate Prashant Patil confirmed to ANI that the actress will be attending the court proceedings scheduled for November 10.

Regarding the actress’s, the ED had said in the court that, ‘The actress did not cooperate in the investigation.’ Jacqueline Fernandez had deleted the data from her mobile. Along with this, the ED had also said in the court that Jacqueline Fernandes had tampered with the evidence and she was also trying to leave the country, but due to the issue of LOC, she could not leave the country. Jacqueline Fernandez was accused of taking expensive gifts from Sukesh Chandrasekhar. At the same time, it has to be seen what the court pronounces in its decision.
