Aamir Khan is a visionary actor and filmmaker, who has created several unique projects. He is all set to collaborate with actor-comedian Vir Das after Delhi Belly for the film ‘Happy Patel’. Apart from starring in the film, Vir has also directed it alongside Kavi Shastri.
Announcing the film, the makers wrote, “From ‘Kya BANAYA’ to ‘KYA BANAYA Get ready for a wild ride of comedy, action, romance, and some spy stuff as well. Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, in theatres only from January 16, 2026.”
The teaser starts with Aamir Khan reprimanding Vir Das for making a bad film. He further scolds him and even beats him when Laal Singh Chadha’s debacle is mentioned. They are further interrupted by the audience who enters the room and praises the film.
The movie also stars Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar and Sharib Hashmi in the lead roles. It will hit the theatres on January 16, 2026. The film also marks Vir Das’ directorial debut and is presented by Aamir Khan Productions.

On the work front, Aamir was recently in The Ba***ds of Bollywood in a cameo role. He also made a special appearance in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie.
