1- Not many know that Prabhas’ real name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju. However, he chose to shorten it for convenience.
2- Prabhas is passionate about volleyball and despite a busy schedule, he finds out some time to play the game. In an interview earlier, the actor shared about his love for vollyball and said, “I love playing Volleyball and I make sure to get some time out to catch up with my friends over a game of volleyball whenever I can. Catching up over a game of volleyball has almost become like a ritual to us.”
3- In 2017, Prabhas became the first South Indian actor to have his wax figure at Madame Tussauds, Bangkok. Apart from him, only a few actors have received this honour, including Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun.
4- To embody the powerful Baahubali, Prabhas underwent intense training, gaining massive muscle for the role. For this project, he also turned down every film offer for four years, focusing entirely on the monumental Baahubali series, and the movie’s success was a reflection of his efforts. During an event, film’s director SS Rajamouli credited Prabhas for the success and said, “The whole film Baahubali was possible because of Prabhas, who being a lead actor in the south film industry, believed in this project and gave three and half years of his life to the film. I don’t think anybody can get so much involved in the project with that kind of passion, time and commitment,”
5- Prabhas is one of the highest-paid actors of the Indian film industry. According to a report by Forbes, the actor charges somewhere between 100 crore and 200 crore for a film. As reported by News18, he received 120 crore for Adipurush, a period-drama which saw him playing the role of Lord Ram.
