Hema Malini’s first film 

Hema was born on October 16, 1948, in Amankudi, Tamil Nadu. Even after hailing from South India, she tried her luck in Hindi cinema, and today she is included in the list of big actresses. Hema made her debut with the film ‘Saudagar.’ She was seen opposite Raj Kapoor in this film which was released in the year 1968. She was engaged in her very first film and got recognition.

Super hit movies

Hema Malini’s first film was a super hit, after which she got many films. Hema Malini is also known as ‘Dream Girl’. She played a great role in the film ‘Dream Girl’ released on January 14, 1977, and it seemed that this film was made only for Hema Malini. From this film, she got recognition as a ‘Dream Girl’ and became very popular.

Along with working in Bollywood, Hema Malini also entered the world of politics. The actress joined BJP in the year 2004 and was a Rajya Sabha MP of the BJP from 2004 to 2009. She was made General Secretary in the year 2010. After this, in the year 2014, she was elected as an MP from the parliamentary seat of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, and even today she is an MP from Mathura.
