Bollywood actor Govinda has been hitting the headlines due to his divorce rumours once again. His wife Sunita has reportedly filed for divorce in Bandra Family Court on the grounds of ‘adultery, cruelty and desertion.’ According to Hauterrfly, she filed for divorce under Section 13 (1) (i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.

1. Comment On Cheating:
Earlier, while speaking to Hauterrfly, Sunita shared her views on dealing with infidelity in a relationship. She said, “I would like to fold my hands and tell women not to ever say that your partner is innocent (doesn’t cheat). If he does it, it will become so bad and no matter how hard you try to get rid of her, she won’t leave him for years. Even if you leave him, that woman won’t.”
2. Her Equation With Govinda:
In the same interview with Hautterfly, she revealed her equation with Govinda is different from that of other couples. She shared, “I still don’t feel like we are husband and wife. I still address him as ‘Abbe’ and he also addresses me the same way. That’s how we talk to each other. Gali-galoch is a part of our conversation… I sometimes ask him, ‘Are you my husband? I still can’t believe you are my husband.”
3. Emotional Over Her Family With Govinda
In her latest vlog, Sunita broke down as she talked about her relationship with Govinda and her two children. “When I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should get married to him and have a good life. The Goddess fulfilled all my wishes—she even blessed me with two children. But not every truth in life is easy; there are always ups and downs. Still, I have so much faith in the Goddess that whatever I am witnessing today, I know that whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali is there.”
4. Calling Divorce Rumours Baseless Previously
This is the second time Govinda and Sunita have been involved in divorce rumours. However, Sunita dismissed it and said, “Jis din confirm hoga, ya mere aur Govinda ke mu se aap log sunoge, vo alag baat hai. But I don’t think Govinda can live without me, nor can I live without Govinda. And Govinda can never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman.”
