Govinda has been grabbing the attention due to his divorce rumours with his wife, Sunita Ahuja. According to Hauterrfly, she filed for divorce in Bandra Family Court on the grounds of ‘adultery, cruelty and desertion.’ Both of them are yet to comment on these reports. However, Govinda made his first appearance amid the rumours and was seen interacting with the paparazzi at the airport.
Govinda was seen in all white casual attire and waved at the paparazzi while posing. He was also seen blowing flying kisses to his fans at the airport.
Sunita was also in the news after she launched her YouTube channel. In her first vlog, she broke down as she talked about her relationship with Govinda and her two children. “When I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should get married to him and have a good life. The Goddess fulfilled all my wishes—she even blessed me with two children. But not every truth in life is easy; there are always ups and downs. Still, I have so much faith in the Goddess that whatever I am witnessing today, I know that whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali is there.”
This is not the first time Govinda and Sunita have been involved in divorce rumours. However, Sunita dismissed it and said, “Jis din confirm hoga, ya mere aur Govinda ke mu se aap log sunoge, vo alag baat hai. But I don’t think Govinda can live without me, nor can I live without Govinda. And Govinda can never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman.”
Earlier, while speaking to Hauterrfly, Sunita shared her views on dealing with infidelity in a relationship. She said, “I would like to fold my hands and tell women not to ever say that your partner is innocent (doesn’t cheat). If he does it, it will become so bad and no matter how hard you try to get rid of her, she won’t leave him for years. Even if you leave him, that woman won’t.”
The couple is yet to comment on the divorce rumours.
