Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, one of the biggest hyped Tamil releases of the year, finally hit the theaters on April 10. The movie opened to a bomb-like response, pulling in fans in huge numbers throughout Tamil Nadu and elsewhere. With sky-high expectations and robust pre-release hype, the movie raked in a whopping first-day box office collection of ₹29.25 crore.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, Good Bad Ugly witnessed a sharp drop in earnings on Friday, collecting Rs.13.50 crore. The dip could be due to the weekday factor. Despite the decline, Good Bad Ugly has successfully crossed the Rs. 40 crore milestone in just two days. The total collection now stands at Rs. 42.75 crore which is still a commendable feat for a regional film.

Good Bad Ugly is an action-comedy movie with Ajith Kumar playing the character of a gangster called Red Dragon. The movie has a star-studded cast with Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu and Shine Tom Chacko playing important roles. Directed by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films at last the music of the movie is done by the brilliant GV Prakash.
