New Delhi: South star Chiranjeevi and Bollywood’s Salman Khan starrer GodFather to hit the theatres tomorrow, that is, October 5. The film will be clashing with Nagarjuna’s ‘The Ghost’. The film is releasing in Telugu and Hindi.
Now, as the political thriller drama is about to make its release, let us look at the advance booking collections so far.
GodFather Advance Booking Update
According to trade reports, Godfather has managed to collect over Rs 3.50 crores gross from across the country, with most of the business coming in from the Telugu market.
The advance booking for GodFather was opened in October 1 and is expected to have a good response.
As per Sacnilk report, Godfather 1st day advance booking grossed approx Rs 3.78 crore from the Telegu market. From the Hindi market, the movie managed to collect approx Rs 10 lakh in its advance day 1 collection gross.
The movie has been helmed by Mohan Raja. GodFather is the official Telegu remake of the 2019 movie Lucifer. The cast of the movie also includes Lady Superstar Nayanthara, director Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev as pivotal characters, among others.
Salman Khan to play an extended cameo in his maiden Tollywood movie. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor plays a character similar to the one played by Prithviraj in Lucifer.
Produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films, the film will feature the music of the celebrated composer Thaman. Satya Dev will feature in a role with negative shades.
Meanwhile, the makers of Chiranjeevi starrer GodFather dropped its Title track on October 3. Sharing the song, the team wrote on Twitter, “Meet the Most Dangerous & Mysterious Man – The #GodFather…” The song celebrates the undying spirit of Chiranjeevi’s character in the film, Brahma. The lyrical video also includes some BTS moments from the making of the song.
The music has been given by popular composer S Thaman. Speaking about the movie, GodFather talks about a mass leader named Brahma, played by Chiranjeevi. As he returns to his hometown after 20 years, he ends up disturbing the lives of a few high-ranking people.
