Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar have embraced parenthood for the second time. They have welcomed a baby boy and shared this heartwarming news on Instagram with their fans. The couple already has a son named Zehaan.
Announcing the news, the couple wrote in the post, “Bismillah Hir Rahmaan Nir Raheem. Zehaan is overjoyed to graciously share his kingdom with his new baby brother born on Sept 1 2025. Seeking everyone’s love and continued blessings for our elated family. Grateful and giggling parents Zaid and Gauahar.” They captioned, “Alhamdullah.”
Many celebrities congratulated the couple. Neeti Mohan wrote, “OMG! We are overjoyed to hear this news. Many many congratulations to all of you especially Zehaan.” Sophie Choudry commented,”Awww mashAllah… huge congrats to you both!!” Dia Mirza also posted two heart emoticon in the comment section.
In an earlier interview to Hindustan Times, Gauahar talked about her journey of motherhood and said that it makes her feel complete. She shared, “To everyone who’s wanting to be a mum, I would say, just do it! For me, motherhood is a feeling that no other feeling can match up to. The feeling of motherhood makes you feel complete. You know, a lot of people who don’t have it easy and have to go through tough journeys, but it is worth it. I feel extremely grateful that I could go through this and be a mum.”

Talking about her post partum weight loss, “I thought that I would take a while to lose the pregnancy weight. Keeping the baby weight aside, you still lose, a couple of kilos in 5-6 weeks but I don’t know how I suddenly dropped 10kgs. I was being fed everything possible post delivery, by my sister, my mum and my mother-in-law.”
Gauahar and Zaid already have a son and welcomed him in 2023. They tied the knot in 2020.
