Game Changer Vs Fateh Box Office Collection Day 6: Ram Charan’s Film Faces Slump After 100 Crore Milestone, Sonu Sood’s Debut Holds Steady

Game Changer and Fateh have made notable appearances at the box office, but their journeys have been drastically different. Ram Charan's Game Changer crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark early.

Two major releases, Game Changer and Fateh, have hit the box office recently, generating significant buzz but delivering contrasting performances. While Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, had a strong start but is facing challenges sustaining momentum, Fateh, directed by and starring Sonu Sood, has struggled to ignite audience interest despite moderate collections.

Game Changer: Big Expectations, Mixed Results

Directed by Shankar, Game Changer opened with a massive Rs. 51 crore on its first day, setting high expectations. However, the film saw a sharp decline in collections during the weekdays. By its sixth day, the film minted Rs. 6.11 crore, bringing the total to Rs. 112.26 crore. Here’s the day-wise breakdown:

  • Day 1: Rs. 51 crore
  • Day 2: Rs. 21.6 crore
  • Day 3: Rs. 15.9 crore
  • Day 4: Rs. 7.65 crore
  • Day 5: Rs. 10 crore
  • Day 6: Rs. 6.11 crore

Facing stiff competition from other releases like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, and Unni Mukundan’s Marco, the film’s weekdays have been challenging. Adding to its woes, Game Changer was reportedly pirated, with unauthorized screenings on local TV channels and buses. Producer Sreenivas Kumar has demanded strict action against the culprits.

Fateh: Sonu Sood’s Debut Faces Tough Road

Fateh, Sonu Sood’s directorial debut co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, failed to make a strong impact at the box office. Despite positive buzz before release and a decent opening day collection of Rs. 2.4 crore, the film’s numbers dipped significantly during weekdays.

  • Day 1: Rs. 2.4 crore
  • Day 2: Rs. 2.1 crore
  • Day 3: Rs. 2.25 crore
  • Day 4: Rs. 0.95 crore
  • Day 5: Rs. 1.5 crore
  • Day 6: Rs. 1 crore

With a total of Rs. 10.20 crore in six days, the film’s performance remains underwhelming. Sonu Sood, however, expressed optimism, stating that Fateh was designed as a two-part project, with the sequel’s future dependent on the success of the first installment.

While Game Changer has crossed the Rs. 110 crore mark, its midweek slump indicates it may struggle to maintain its trajectory. On the other hand, Fateh has touched Rs. 10 crore in six days but falls significantly behind in comparison. Both films have faced stiff competition from other major releases, which has impacted their performances.

As the box office battle continues, Game Changer leads the race, but the coming weeks will determine if it can sustain its momentum, while Fateh remains hopeful for a second wind.
