Two highly anticipated movies, Game Changer starring Ram Charan and Fateh featuring Sonu Sood, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others, are currently competing at the box office. While Game Changer had an impressive opening, its collections dwindled after the initial days. On the other hand, Fateh has struggled to make a significant impact since its release. Let’s take a closer look at the Day 15 box office performance of both films.
Game Changer: A Sluggish Run After a Strong Start
Game Changer, released on January 10, 2025, had a phenomenal opening with Rs. 51 crore on Day 1. However, its collections have been on a consistent decline since Day 2. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs. 43 lakhs (Telugu) on Thursday and Rs. 14 lakhs on Friday. The film’s overall Telugu collection stands at Rs. 87.63 crore, with a total gross of Rs. 129.01 crore across all languages.
Despite its strong premise- set during the India-Pakistan war of 1965- and a compelling dual-role performance by Ram Charan, the movie failed to maintain its momentum. However, the clichéd romantic subplot and slow pace might have contributed to the film’s underperformance in subsequent weeks.

Fateh: Struggling To Find Footing
Directed by Sonu Sood, Fateh opened modestly and has struggled to gain traction at the box office. The film, featuring a star-studded cast including Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, earned Rs. 12.75 crore net in its first 13 days. On Day 14, it managed just Rs. 11 lakhs, bringing the total to Rs. 12.86 crore.
Here’s a breakdown of Fateh’s daily collection:
- Opening Day (Friday): Rs. 2.4 crore
- Week 1 Total: Rs. 11.1 crore
- Day 14 (Thursday): Rs. 0.11 crore (early estimates)
Despite Sonu Sood’s directorial efforts and a unique storyline, the movie has not managed to captivate audiences, possibly due to limited promotions and lackluster reviews.
A Slow Week For Bollywood
This week has been tough for most films, with several seeing a dip in collections. Ajay Devgn’s Azaad and Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency are also competing at the box office. While Azaad saw a slight dip, Emergency has been holding steady, earning a consistent Rs. 1 crore since Tuesday.
While Game Changer had a strong start, it is yet to regain its early momentum. Fateh, on the other hand, continues to underperform despite its ensemble cast. As both movies enter their third week, it remains to be seen if they can bounce back or continue their downward trend.
