The much-anticipated political drama Game Changer continues to lead the box office battle, despite experiencing a sharp decline in collections. After an impressive start on its opening day, the movie struggled to maintain momentum during its second week. On Day 12, the film earned approximately Rs. 0.75 crore, bringing its total to Rs. 127.15 crore. While its first-week collection of Rs. 117.65 crore showcased its early dominance, the second week saw a consistent drop, with daily collections struggling to surpass Rs. 3 crore.
Sonu Sood’s ‘Fateh’ Battles !
Fateh, directed by and starring Sonu Sood, along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Vijay Raaz, has been battling for attention since its release. The action-packed film has garnered Rs.12.54 crore in 12 days, with a modest Rs. 0.14 crore collection on Day 12. After a promising first weekend, the film’s earnings witnessed steep drops, particularly during weekdays. Despite its limited reach and scale, the film maintained steady interest in select regions.
Box Office Clash: Game Changer Dominates
The clash between the two films highlights their contrasting performances. Game Changer, a pan-India film headlined by Ram Charan, outpaces Fateh significantly in terms of overall collection. While Game Changer faced competition from Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency and Ajay Devgn’s Azaad, it still managed to attract audiences due to its political narrative and star power. Meanwhile, Fateh, a comparatively smaller release, is carving out its niche among fans of action dramas.
With no major releases scheduled in the coming days, both films will likely depend on word-of-mouth and regional audiences to sustain their box office run. While Game Changer remains the frontrunner, Fateh may struggle to achieve significant gains. The industry, however, continues to face an overall sluggish trend, with multiple releases underperforming.
