Actor Ram Charan and director Shankar’s political thriller Game Changer has successfully crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone at the domestic box office. Released on January 10 in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, the film has earned Rs 106.15 crore nett within the first five days of its Sankranti run, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.
Shankar Speaks About The Final Product
In a candid interview with Behindwoods TV, director Shankar opened up about his feelings regarding the final cut of the film. He admitted that he wasn’t fully satisfied with the finished product, stating, “This is a common problem with every filmmaker. No matter what you do, you’ll never feel completely satisfied. I feel I could have done better.”
Shankar also shared insights into the editing process, revealing that the initial runtime of Game Changer exceeded five hours. He explained, “Some good scenes and situations were removed during trimming. The total duration exceeded five hours. It’s like sculpting; if we leave it as it is, it’s just a marble.”
