Mindblowing CGI
The craze for Gadar 2 has continued. Everyone is liking the film. While the bonding of Tara Singh-Sakina has come to the fore, a small glimpse of Amrish Puri in one shot gives relief. This glimpse adds a pinch of masala to the story. The movie has done justice with computer-generated imagery (CGI) as the scene of Amrish Puri was added with the help of it.
CGI helps in creating artwork on the computer, a moving animated image is displayed on the screen. Technology adds the factor of reality to the movies. It was used many times in Hollywood, first in Tron in 1982.
However, it was never used to revive any dead personality but just to show a spaceship. The series continued to exist for decades and in 2015 the film, which brought the late actor back to life with this technique was 2015’s Fast and Furious 7. It revived Paul Walker who had died in 2003 and was used in some scenes even then.
Spectacular opening
Gadar 2 has got an impressive opening. For now, the film has earned around 40 crores. People are loving Suny Deol. Taking many movie lovers back in time. Even before the movie came to theatres, there was so much talk of missing Amrish Puri. In this film, Major General Iqbal played the role of Villain instead of Ashraf Ali. This character is played by actor Manish Wadhwa.
While the movie makers had not yet spoken about CGI. When Wadhwa was asked how he felt like replacing Amrish Puri, he said that nobody can take his place.
